Get some immediate gratification when you shop at River City Yarns! Starting October 1st, 2012, we'll be offering you up to 10% off your purchases as a reward for shopping with us.
Here's how it works:
On a single purchase of $100 or more we'll give you an immediate 5% off; spend $200 or more on a single purchase and we'll give you 10% off. Some conditions apply.
We're also introducing a RCY Rewards! card that you can use to accumulate points for a future discount. You can earn points by spending as little as $25 on a single purchase. When you have 4 points you can redeem your card for 5% off your next purchase or continue to collect and redeem your card at 8 points for 10% off your next purchase. And yes, there are some conditions that must be met for point collection, but we're keeping it simple.
Points can be collected on our special RCY Rewards! card. You can present the card at River City Yarns and our cashier will validate the points. When you've reached a reward level, redeem your RCY Rewards! card and we'll apply the discount on your next purchase.
Here's the fine print:
- RCY Rewards! are valid in-store only, on regular priced items.
- To earn an immediate 5% discount, the value of your single purchase must be $100 or more of
regular priced items (see exclusions) before GST. The discount will be applied at the Point-of-Sale to
regular priced items (some exceptions apply).
- To earn an immediate 10% discount, the value of your single purchase must be $200 or more of
regular priced items (see exclusions) before GST. The discount will be applied at the Point-of-Sale to
regular priced items (some exceptions apply).
- To qualify for RCY Rewards! points, your purchase must contain $25 or more of qualifying items.
Each qualifying purchase of $25 or more is worth 1 point/$25. If you spend $78 in qualifying items, for example, you would be eligible to collect 3 points for that transaction. We will award you the appropriate number of points per purchase but we will not top up or combine purchases to award additional points.
- Your RCY Rewards! card may be redeemed on your next purchase and the discount will be applied to qualifying items (some exclusions apply).
- Your RCY Rewards! points are not transferable. You cannot combine points from more than one card. RCY Rewards! cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, sales or promotional deals.
- Excluded from counting toward a discount are purchases of gift cards/certificates; workshop registration fees; sale/clearance or discounted items; mailing, shipping or third party services and GST.
- The following items are excluded from RCY Rewards!: you cannot receive a discount on gift cards/certificates; workshop registration fees; already discounted items such as sale/clearance items; mailing, shipping or third party services and/or GST. Sale items are excluded from the rewards program because they are already discounted.
